The series envisions a scene where familiar geological forms—torn from their roots—are relocated to the surface of another planet. Here, rock formations native to our Earth, shaped over millennia underground, are now exhibited on a distant celestial body’s strange, fluid, and mirror-like terrain. This forced migration points to natural structures removed from their organic cycles and transformed. In this context, surfaces illuminated with artificial lighting explore the transformation of matter and space, humanity’s intrusive curiosity, and the ethical dilemmas that interplanetary transfer might pose.—Ceren Su Çelik
